The second webinar in our Winter/Spring 2024 Lunch and Learn series is Condo Governance, Conflicts of Interest and Director Ethics on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
The Condominium Act sets up a framework that requires owners to elect a small group of people (Directors) who will be responsible for the governance of the condominium corporation on behalf of all owners. The Condominium Act sets out duties and standards that Directors must fulfill but provides little else by way of guidance. Join condo lawyers Sonja Hodis, Patricia Elia, and Chris Jaglowitz along with property manager, Jessica Laker and condo director, Patricia Sinclair as they discuss the governance framework condominiums in Ontario operate under, what is a conflict a interest and how to deal with them as well as a discussion about Board of Director Ethics and Codes of Conduct.
