We will be conducting a vote for Board of Directors position(s) during this year's AGM.   We have received three nominations so far for one available position in the Building Sciences professional category on the Board of Directors.  Those nominated so far are:

Jon Juffs
Jon is a long-time volunteer member of CCI Huronia (past president and current board member), as well as the CCI Toronto and Area Chapter (Professional Associate), CCI National (past Director, Certification Committee member, and Resource Content Committee), ACMO (past Regional Committee member). Since 1988, Jon's work experience has been continuously focussed on architectural technology and building science services for many forms of occupied buildings.  In 2006, he co-authored 'Reserve Fund Essentials' - a layperson's guide to reserve fund planning and control.  In 2022, he co-authored 'Longevity of Infrastructure – Reserving and Risk Management in Condominium Maintenance in Canada' - a detailed research paper with the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.  His service motto is "A home is more than roof or walls or lofty curving stairs ... it's a people thing after all.”

Justin Kelly
After spending over a decade in the Commercial Real Estate Industry across Canada in the Retail Shopping Centre Development Sector, Justin exited the corporate world to start his own Private Retreat Business where he hosted hundreds of groups of people looking to escape the hustle and bustle to recharge their batteries and re-connect with the simple things in life. Everything was always about anticipating your clients' needs and putting yourself in their shoes so they could get the most out of their experience. Developing the capacity to manage expectations and aim to over-deliver on the needs and wants of your customers.  Recently, Justin joined Registon Building Restoration Ltd. where his horizons have expanded to learn the layers of planning, project management and construction within the condo industry as he continues to create genuine, lasting connections with all the people he crosses paths with both within and outside the condo industry.

Shawn Trudell
Shawn is a Senior Project Technologist with Brown & Beattie Ltd. and has spent his career providing engineering and building science consulting services to the Condominium Industry. He has extensive experience in building assessments, Reserve Fund Studies, Performance Audits, and building restorations. Over the recent years, he has increasingly become involved in the CCI Huronia Chapter, contributing as a guest and/or presenter at the events.

Additional nominations can be made during the AGM.

NOTE:  There is one vote per condominium corporation membership.
