Happy New Year and all the best for 2019.
CCI Huronia had a very busy and successful 2018 and has planned a comprehensive set of events to keep you and your board up to date on evolutions in the condominium industry.
As an industry, we are hoping for the coming into force of more of the new provisions and regulations under the Condominium Act, 1998. We are looking for more decisions from the CAT and more communication from the CAO and CMRAO.
From an educational perspective, we are moving forward with more information from the CAO and CMRAO. We will be conducting our annual Director’s Course in April, and of course, we will be presenting another fabulous conference in the Fall. Condostrength will be continuing its focused and intimate group discussions for directors by directors.
At the National Level, CCI continues to be the Voice of Condos with five active chapters in Ontario. CCI National is actively working with new Committees to undertake new initiatives in education and resource management. We look forward to bringing those new initiatives in the near future and building membership value.
